Training Course
This half day course focuses on quality and how it affects the accountancy firm.
We will look at ISQC 1 which imposes many rules on an audit firm along ISA 220 which deals with quality on audit assignments.
The requirements of these two important standards are covered in full but there is also much practical guidance on applying these standards.
Further IFAC draft standards, consultation papers and guidance are briefly discussed.
Finally we discuss financial statements themselves. Despite today’s advanced software and systems many accounts are still filed with alarming errors. We will look into some reasons why this is occurring.
